BEAMAenergy members have developed a group of members investigating the new and emerging market of Home Communications. These companies come from the full range of industry sectors including metering, heating controls, and meter communication companies, but also including interest from related and peripheral sectors.
The aims of the initiative are: To represent the members of the group in a professional and unified manner, to create a profitable market for advanced residential electronic infrastructure products and services enabling the following goals to be realised.
- Energy efficiency - applying technology to monitor and optimize energy use
- Comfort - optimizing the internal environment of the building for the comfort of the user
- Care - supporting the provision of care to the 'at risk' population
- Safety - providing a safe and secure home environment
- Convenience - achieving energy efficiency, comfort, care, and safety in a convenient and time-efficient manner.
